Fire TV Stick App no longer plays podcasts

My Question or Issue:

Podcasts no longer play on the Fire TV app. Pressing play provides no sound, however the progress bar updates. Skipping forward or back closes the app. 

Music plays fine without issue.

How do I fix this, they worked fine yesterday?

Unrelated, it appears that pressing post ONCE counts this as post flooding, I'm trying to make ONE post - the 'I'm not a robot' appears to cause this - it gives a tick and when pressing 'post' gives an error saying I haven't used the capatcha so I try again and I'm apparently post flooding!

• The version of your Fire TV Stick.
• The troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
