In China, in the past few days, mobile phones and computers have been unable to directly connect to spotify. They must use a VPN to use it normally. It has always been normal before. I want to ask what is going on?
Although the official subscription service is not open in China, there are still a lot of users in China using spotify premium. It is very inconvenient to not be able to directly link. I hope the official can fix it as soon as possible and let spotify be used in China. Thank you
ipv6 works, guess the GFW blocked Spotify or Spotify made some changed to their dns/servers.
Spotify fix it plzzzzzz

After a recent server update, I have observed that while spclient.wg.spotify.com is accessible through Ping tests in China, establishing an actual connection remains unsuccessful. I suspect that the Great Firewall (GFW) in China might be blocking this link. Notably, the resolution of spclient.wg.spotify.com points to Google's servers, which are restricted in China, potentially contributing to the connectivity problem.
Interestingly, links such as https://wrapped-images.spotifycdn.com and https://seed-mix-image.spotifycdn.com can be successfully connected. This complexity arises as not all links are subject to the same blocking.
In the process of resolving this issue, could it be possible to consider changing the resolution to the original servers, enabling normal usage of your service in China?
Your assistance in addressing this connectivity problem is greatly appreciated. I look forward to your attention and support.
Thank you for your understanding, and I am optimistic about resolving this matter.
Firstly, let me make it clear that the user base in China includes a lot of travelers, business people, and students. These individuals have already integrated Spotify into their daily lives as a crucial source of entertainment and cultural experience. However, due to recent DNS changes, many users are experiencing difficulties connecting to Spotify servers.
This connectivity issue is causing frustration for users in China, impacting their ability to rely on Spotify for language learning, cultural immersion, and entertainment. Spotify has become an integral part of our daily routines, especially during journeys, so the inability to use it seamlessly is making the entire experience a bit dull.
I hope that in the process of resolving this issue, consideration can be given to these users in China. Let's ensure we can continue enjoying the fantastic experience that Spotify brings.
