Issue with Local Files

When I try to add local files to Spotify using my macbook, all of the MP3s are greyed out and I cannot click them to add them to Spotify.

Are the files greyed out on your MacBook or on your phone? Could you confirm that you've followed the steps in this article?

If the files are greyed out in your playlists on your MacBook, check if you've set the correct source folder for your local files. There might have also been some caching issue, so it's worth trying a clean reinstall to reset the app's preferences to the default.
