Issues with playback on latest version of Windows 10 Mobile

Hi Spotify

 

I'm having major issues with playback stuttering on bluetooth, difficutlies with playing songs and performance issues (not responding to user input) on Spotify and the latest version of Windows 10 Mobile.

 

Thought you might want to know this, because it may kill Spotify on Windows 10 if you don't fix the app.

Here's an advice from WP10 user - stop using Spotify. They don't give a darn about Windows Phone users. The last update was published over a year ago. The app was badly optimized on WP 8.1, on 10 it is virtually unusable. Switch to Deezer, especially if you're using Premium.

I've tried Deezer in the public beta branch. I think I'll wait a little bit more before switching.

 

However, I don't think Spotify don't care. I think they are afraid of losing the W10M/WP8.1 users. Think of it: why would they keep the app in Windows Store if they did not care? It costs money and reputation to keep a poorly optimized app alive.

And yet they do nothing about it. Just for curiousity I undigged my old Android phone. Since that (December 2015) the Spotify app received over 5 updates. And what we got on WP? Nothing, even the update of user interface, or transparent tile. For a service you pay money for you expect better treatment.
