My Question or Issue

Hi,

I have a mismatch in shown up devices for Spotify connect between my Android device and Windows 10 app.

Home network #1:

Cisco router: LAN

Home network #2:

Asus router: WiFi AC. Asus router uses DHCP of Cisco router

Spotify device #1:

Nexus 6p running Android 9 connected on Home network #2

Alias: Deze telefoon / Nexus 6P

Spotify device #2:

Dell XPS running Windows 10 connected on Home network #2

Alias: This computer / TWFNL0523

Spotify connect device #1:

Marantz SR6010 Latest firmware connected on Home network #1

Alias: Marantz SR6010

Spotify connect device #2:

Google cast connected on Home network #2

Alias: Soechitram Cast

Since approximately 3 months my Android device cannot detect the Marantz as a Spotify connect device. I tried to give the Marantz a static IP, use the Google DNS servers, network reset, factory reset. It did not resolved the problem. The problem was not introduced with a Marantz firmware upgrade.

Funny thing is, when Windows 10 device plays a song on Marantz, the Android device sees that a song is played on the Marantz and with the Android device I can play an other song on the Marantz. But when I turn off and on the Marantz, the Marantz is gone from the devices list of Android, but again visible on Windows 10.

Is there some explanation between this mismatch?
