My Question or Issue

Hi, I'm currently using LG Smart TV from 2020 running Web OS,

And I could find only one category on Search Tab, Under label "둘러보기 시작"(Explore).

There's only one Category named 음악(Music).

Which is weird because other platforms(iOS,Windows) have all the genres/categories.
Seems it need to be updated or either open from server.

Can it be fixed? I hope anyone from spotify team could check this and update.

What I've done so far:

-Delete and Reinstall the App

-Check network status and TV software version and app version running latest one.

-Turning off IPv6 on Network setting(i don't know why but support told me to do)

-Struggling with Spotify support for 2 hours with meaningless steps and non helful article links that i already read.(also advisor didn't understand my inquiry)(So i'm little bit angry)(They asked me to contact LG customer service for Spotify App problem.. Why?)

-Use test account received from Spotify support and the problem persisted

(and got answer that My Television is a problem which doesn't make sense)

Hey @henrynam00,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

We appreciate all the troubleshooting you've done so far, it's really helpful. In order to continue investigating this issue, would you mind starting your playback from a different device on one of the missing categories and then transfer your playback to your TV using the Connect feature to see if it refreshes the categories?

Also and if possible, could you change the language of your TV to English to see if it makes any difference?

Lastly, include in your next response the UI, Player and Brand of your app. You can find this info on the TV app by selecting the gear icon next to your profile picture. It will be on the right side of the screen below your username and picture.

Hope this helps. We'll be waiting for your response.

1)Spotify connect from different device with one of missing categories

-didn't work. Seems nothing to do refreshing the categories. Tried Playing one of the Playlist from Pop category from my iPhone to the LG TV through Spotify connect.

2)Changing the Language into English

-No difference. Only thing discovered was that 둘러보기 시작 was Start Browsing.

3)UIPlayer and Brand of my app

Actually, I already mentioned them in the earlier post, but seems you missed it.

Hey @henrynam00,

Thanks for testing this out and for all the info you've provided!

We'd like to report this to our tech folks so they can have a closer look. In order to do that, it'd be great if you can send us a screenshot or a screen recording of what you see on your end. If you decide on a recording and the file is too large to attach, you can upload it to Google Drive (make sure to allow general access to the file) or as an unlisted YouTube video.

We'll be on the lookout for your response.

Here's the photo of TV screen I took on my phone. Since my TV has no screenshot or a screen recording function.
