My Question or Issue

I have installed and reinstalled Spotfy more than 4 times in my PS4 but every time I try opening it, or linking it, it will load and load and load, and after a couple of minutes simply shows "Error :(" and no other details.

I have tried multiple solutions found here and other links, but nothing has helped. I logged out of the PSN and reinstalled the app. I unlinked and relinked my account, and even tried going from the music menu directly to link my account, and its still not helping with the last message being "This feature may be temporarily unavailable. Please try again later (CE-35327-0).

Please help.

Same thing happened to me. If you have the app installed on your phone or laptop, you can still select "PS4" from the list of connected devices. I'm guessing there is an outage with Spotify.

I have the same issue, but the irony is I can open the app on a different account, which might conclude that it's not an outage or something.

I have the same error ๐Ÿ˜ž Is there some solution?

The ps4 link got broken when I enabled last.fm scrobbling. Disabling it doesn't help, I'm still getting CE-35327-0 error, or a server communication error when trying to link it back. Shame...

HEEEEEY! I found finally the solution, on your ps4 go to settings > account management > Link whith other services > turn off Spotify > restart your ps4 > log in !!

God bless you!!

It didn't work . I didn't have turn of spotify option . Just signed out and restarted the ps4 and signed in again

My Question or Issue

I cannot use Spotify on my PS4. When I open the app, it loads for a moment before displaying an error message that reads "Cannot connect to the server." My PS4 also no longer appears in my devices list when I attempt to connect from my phone or computer (all of my devices are on the same wifi network.) I've seen a few other posts about this issue and have repeatedly attempted all the "solutions" listed to no avail. I have:

  • Uninstalled & reinstalled the app on my PS4
  • Un-linked my PlayStation Network account from my Spotify and then re-linked them
  • Signed out of and back in to both PSN and Spotify
  • Restarted my PS4
  • Restarted my router
  • Attempted to connect via hotspot to see if it was a problem with my network (I still received the same error message.)

Every other app on my PS4 is working with no issues whatsoever, so I do not believe it's an issue on their end. I do not use a VPN or proxy, and as stated above have restarted my router and used a different network entirely via hotspot, so I do not believe this is an issue with my internet either. Any help you can offer is appreciated. It is admittedly very frustrating to pay for a service that so rarely functions the way it is supposed to.

Hey there @klflavin,

Thanks for reaching out about this and welcome to the Community!

We appreciate the time you've taken to go through this and for sharing all the steps you've tried.

There's something else we could try here - could you set the MTU value in your PS4's network settings to 1450 and let us know if that does the trick?

Also, make sure there aren't any pending system updates in your PS4.

If the issue persists, could you let us know when it started happening and if it was after a specific event, such as an app or software update?

Keep us posted. We'll be on the lookout.

This worked for me. (PS5)  Options Button > Advanced Settings on the network name and you can edit the value there.

steps which worked for me: ( all changes under Account Management)

  1. I restored my license (took 3-5 mins)
  2. uninstalled my Spotify
  3. Go to link with other services and select Spotify and link/unlink your account as needed.

3.1 installed Spotify back ๐Ÿคช

im having the same issue but there is an error code with a sequence of numbers and letters any idea how to fix this?

Hey there @maudhoon,

Thanks for the post.

It's best if you check for any PS updates and let those install on your console. After that remove Spotify and install it again.

If you still see the error message, can you send us a photo of it, so we can investigate further?

Cheers.

I have had this problem for three days now, please can anyone help?

Hi @cinarteeeek,

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

If none of the solutions above do the trick for you, something else you can try is changing the DNS server on the console to Google's or Quad9's public DNS. It's also worth adjusting the MTU value to either 1425, 1435, 1450, 1473 or 1475.

Hope this helps. Cheers ๐Ÿค˜
