PS4 - streaming behaviour

Hello

So my ps4 spotify player is erratic. 

I used my bandwidth monitor ( router is RT AC66u ) and i have found some explenation and it is NOT in the quality of the stream :

When the app works and i start a track : The bandwidth meter shoots up brievly up to 150 to 200 KB/s ( i suppose to preload a little part of said track for smooth playing ) then follow up around 40 to 60 KB/s

When the player is "choppy" the app does NOT shoot up to 200/150 but start to stream at around 40 and sometimes fall down to the 20s thus cutting the streaming and killing the experience. 

To be precise, doing anything else on the ps4, like updating the news stream or using playstation live or youtube, uses the full bandwidth and works perfectly. Also the app on my pc and phone is flawless. 

i tried : restart the ps4 fully and my router fully but it is still erratic. Sometimes i can have 2 hours of smooth sailling and today some tracks are alright others don't.

Feels a little like an unstable background process or something.

Thanks @Adam. Really weird. Tonight nothing goes through on ps4 and if I press continue on the phone it goes perfectly

I hope it will get fixed soon as my surround sound gives a way better experience
