Playlists and "offline" mode

Spotify on SDXC card (same issue when its on internal memory)

Hi. I have problem with my playlists set to "offline" mode, synced to my device. As far as i know the idea here is to download that music to my phone's memory and  be able to play them without net connection, right?

But the problem is when i carefully set me all playlists to "offline" mode, when i close Spotify app, minimize it, switch to something else and go back - some of them are not "green" again and refuse to be played without wifi/cell connection.

IT happens again and again making this mode useless to me and im considering to cancel my premium subscription becouse i wont pay which doesnt work.

please help me out if anyone knows a solution for this problem.

As i mentioned i have the newest system version and i tried many SD cards and even installing Spotify in an internal memory of smarthone (which is useless becouse of its limited memory space, not enough for music).

Hey @agnus78!

Have you tried uninstalling the app, restarting your phone and then redownloading the app?

Also, make sure you haven't reached the device's 3,333 offline songs limit.

I have playlists as you can see on my screenshot - when i try to "offline" that "Lite & easy" playlist.. it gones weird, song names disapears and spotify quits to main screen. sometimes its possible to switch that button "available offline" but when i go back to playlists i see it has "100% downloading" and it stays like this. When i try to play any song from this list it says Spoti is in offline mode and it cannot play this song. 

Its not caused by only this list, i have other lists and its the same.

I changed SD card recently and it didnt help.

I have this problem since Windows 8, its the same with Spotify on W10M.

I reinstalled Spotify many times, it doesnt help at all.

I must add thats everything ok on my old Android tablet. I have all playlists "greened" so they are  playable when i switch wifi and cell connections off. Nothings goes 'wild", playlist offline status doesnt dissapear and Spotify doesnt turn off by itself (which happens on W10M).

This makes me into conclusion that Spotify on WindowsPhone is very early, beta stage which shouldn't be released publicly.

Is there any chance for Spoti update for Lumia and other Windows phones?

Hi. What update.... Apps update automatically, right? I should have the newest version available in MS Store. And i uninstalled and installed Spotify recently so i guess i have the newest one.

I decided to resign from Spotify and cancel my subscription. Im going to try other music services with better W10M optimization and with better support.
