My Question or Issue

On desktop, I started playing a playlist, then manually edited the queue section "Next from: [playlist name]" - removed many songs from queue, then switched to my phone. As a result all the songs which I have removed from the queue are still present in the queue. After switching back to desktop they are still present in the queue. I would expect that the entire queue is synchronized between devices.

Hey there, welcome to the Spotify Community!

Does this happen only when you switch from the desktop to the android app? Please try editing the queue on your android app first and then switch to the desktop app to check if the issue persists there.

On the desktop app, you can click the 3 dots menu on the top left then go to Help and About Spotify. There you can find the current app version and any updates if they are available. Keep your app updated and share the version here.

Started playing an album with 3 songs on mobile, removed one of the songs from the queue, then switched to desktop, and the removed song reappeared.

Spotify for Windows (64 bit) 1.2.26.1187.g36b715a1, Spotify for Android 8.9.4.304.

Thanks for the reply @MihailsS.

Can you try a clean install of both apps? It tends to fix most such issues. You can read more about device-specific instructions here.

Once done, you can try again if the issue persists. This time, try with the Web Player as well. You can open the Web Player with this link: open.spotify.com.

Keep me posted.
