Resuming playlist from Marshall speaker

Hello, I noticed playlists behave differently when playing from the Spotify app and when using Spotify Connect on my Marshall Woburn Multi Room.

When on Spotify app (expected behavior): I play a playlist (via browse, Daily Mix or made by me). Later, I stop it, close the app, do something else. When returning to the playlist, it picks up from where I left.

When using a preset of the Marshall speaker (1 to 7 on the Source dial): it restarts the playlist every time. Each time I choose the preset it starts from the first song.

I doubt this is the expected behavior. Any way to fix this?
