Sleep timer

Sleep timer

It would be most useful to have a sleep timer. I am not certain if the country of usage is critical, but my account is via your Canadian app. Various podcast apps have this feature in increments of 10min, 15min, 30min, 45min, 1 hour, etc., in a simple drop down menu.

Thank you.

Hey @Breitling451,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome. We moved your post from the Ideas section to one of our Help boards as it fits better here.

The option you're mentioning is already a feature added to the Spotify app. If you're using the mobile app, you can set a Sleep Timer of 5, 10, 15, 30, 45 minutes, 1 hour, or at the end of the song/episode you're currently listening to. You can activate it in regular songs from the context menu (3-dot menu) of the Now Playing View by selecting the option Sleep timer or in podcasts by tapping the "clock" button Button clock.jpg located next to the Button 15.jpg button on the Now Playing View as well.

Hope this helps. If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Was it removed again?

play music for a specific (changeable) amount of time so I can fall asleep and not wake up in 1 hour with music still playing.

Hey Oscar - thanks for talking about the mobile app.  Please talk about the windows app.  Oh, wait, sleep timer is not there.  Please give full responses.  Thank you.

its not there anymore ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Are you sure Spotify hasn't removed the sleep timer in an update? Because it appears to have vanished and all your instructions above on where to find it no longer work.

Merci d'avance

Its there,  just not under the 'three dots'.  From the playing screen, it's too the right of the fast forward button.
