Spotify Connect skips the end of songs

My Question or Issue

For a few weeks now my device skips the last few seconds of many tracks and jumps to the start of the next track (a bit more than 50% of the time). I tried resetting the device, uninstalling and reinstalling Spotify on my phone and checked my internet access.

It only happens when I'm connecting via Spotify Connect. When I use bluetooth there's no problem.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Do you have the toggles for gapless playback and crossfade on in the settings of the device you're using to cast the playback through Connect to the playback device?
