Spotify Web player volume up song won't play

I've used spotify web player since 9th grade and I've just started having this issue. I'm using Chrome but I have a windows computer. Yesterday I made a playlist and was using it as usual, and I tried to click on a song. It said I was listening to my playlist, but the song cover did not show up as well as the song and artist, along with the actual song. No song played, and the volume was a the maximum and I couldn't put it down any lower. I've tried resetting cookies and everything and even just resetting my laptop and taking off flash and putting it back on. I don't really know what else to do and I need help.

You can try clicking on this 'computer icon' near the volume bar and choosing 'This web player'. It might be Spotify Connect doing this.

At least it does that to me every now and then, sometimes with the green bar, sometimes without it.

You can also try doing the following:

Click on your user (under 'install app' link), choose 'Full website' and click on any album / playlist proposed to you.

Firewall and VPN may cause issues too.
