Spotify Xbox One black screen

Hello. I downloaded Spotify on my Xbox One, and went to start it up and play music. When I launched it, I got the Spotify logo, and then a black screen. Pressing the controller's 'home' button (the X in the middle) didn't do anything. I couldn't leave the app, close it, or open anything else. It was like I was trapped. I then restarted my Xbox and still had the black screen. A solution I found was to remove my game from the Xbox, turn off the Xbox, and then put the game in again (this makes the Xbox turn on and launch the game). 

Does anyone know why I got a black screen on the app?

Yea the same thing happens to me. The quickest way I get around it is to use the Xbox app on my phone to launch YouTube or sling. Otherwise the screen will stay black and only long plressing the Xbox button will show options.
