When i play a song i don't hear anything

Could you check your device's sound settings and make sure the audio isn't muted? Make sure also that you've selected the correct audio output device. Something else that's worth checking is if you're sending the sound somewhere else, for example with Spotify Connect, Bluetooth, or any other wireless connection method.
