Spotify premium has stopped playing music while I have used other apps such as discord/Reddit/news/browser, which it didn't do before.

I have never experienced this kind of thing before and it has affected my enjoyment of music. There might be other technical issues than Spotify behind this, but what do I know, I'm just a "analog girl in a digital world".

Anyway, I feel like Spotify has started to overload video content and become a "heavy" program & hard to navigate. I'm considering other music listening options, deleting my data was a tempting option.

First up, would you mind giving us a bit more info about what's going on? Is the music stopping as soon as you open other apps? Does it crash or simply stops playing until you manually resume the playback? 

Also, could you let us know the make, model, OS version and the Spotify version of the device in which you're having issues?
