Spotify's website won't load in PC browsers or Samsung Phone browsers.

Solved!

Spotify's website won't load in PC browsers or Samsung Phone browsers.

The Spotify website won't load on my wife's PC running windows 10 and my Samsung S23 Ultra. When you go to the site, it just loads and is a blank white screen but nothing ever loads. On my windows 11 pc it does load. We have cleared cache and everything but we are unable to load the website. Please help.

Hey folks,

Thank you for your messages.

Great troubleshooting so far! To continue investigating this, since this type of issue could be related to the network connection, would you mind using a different Wi-Fi network to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can use your mobile data hotspot to test it.

If the issue doesn't happen with a different network, we'd recommend changing the DNS settings of your router to 8.8.8.8. To do so, you can:

  1. Log in to your router as the admin user
  2. Find the router's DNS server, networking, or IP address settings
  3. Add the Google public DNS servers to the router's configuration
  4. Save the changes
  5. Reboot your router and computer

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.

If the Spotify website is showing a blank screen on your wife's Windows 10 PC and your Samsung S23 Ultra, it could be due to browser issues or network settings. Try the following: 1) Update your browser or try accessing in Incognito mode, 2) Clear your DNS cache using ipconfig /flushdns, 3) Disable any active extensions or check if your antivirus/firewall is blocking the site. I also changed the browser for supplement site, and it works where I want to buy something. As a workaround, consider using the Spotify desktop app while troubleshooting further.

Thanks for the reply!  I have made sure browser is up to date, tried incognito, cleared cache, disabled antivirus and added exception for antivirus/firewall, not sure what the supplement site was for though.  We installed the desktop app but to login, it takes you to the website and it isn't working.

I was having the same issue for the last few days. I did all of the things you tried as well with no luck. I checked the Spotify website again this morning and it worked. I'm guessing they fixed whatever bug was causing it.

Thank you for responding. After troubleshooting for days and doing everything i could think of, it dawned on me that on my mobile network Spotify worked but my network it didn't work (because my phone automatically connected to wifi). I had already reset my router and that didn't do anything. I did this before anyone could respond to me to let you guys know and I have been out of town, but I found someone that had a similar situation but with the site tumblr, I went into my tplink router and set the dns to 8.8.4.4 and the site now runs. not sure why it wasn't working in the first place out of the blue but that had fixed it, so it is basically the info you have given me. Thank you for attention to this matter and helping with troubleshooting!

thanks for responding.  I found the issue was with the dns in my tplink router.  I changed that to 8.8.4.4 and it works.  glad to hear it is up and running for you as well!
