Trim intros and outros in a particular playlist?

I'm making a workout mix. When I'm working out, I want to skip over any slow intros or random stuff at the end of my songs. How can I say, "In this playlist only, start this particular song at 0:23, and end at 2:38"?

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome. 

We can confirm this is currently possible within the app. Nonetheless, there are some features you might find useful in this regard:

• Crossfade: overlaps 2 tracks by fading out of the first while fading in the next.
• Automix: allows beat-matched seamless transitions between songs on select Spotify playlists. It works when you're using Shuffle.
