adding new features on pc

adding new features on pc

Hey so I mostly use Spotify on pc and I've noticed that many of the features on iPhones and androids arent on the windows desktop app. My suggestion for Spotify is to add these features. Stuff like recently played, what's new (updates of podcasts and artists) etc. Honestly, it's much more convenient that way, the fact that I have to open the app on my phone just to know what's recently been updated or newly released annoys me so please look into this and add these features to the windows desktop app.

Hey @sak_0514,

Thanks for posting on the Community and welcome 🙂

We hope you don't mind us moving your post out of the ideas section to one of our Help boards as it fits better here.

That being said, we'd like you to know that you can see the Recently played section on the queue. To check it on the desktop app, go to queue (the button next to the lyrics one), and then select Recently played on the top of the screen:

On another note, you can re-posted in our Ideas Board; but take into account you must follow the Guidelines for submitting ideas, so your suggestion will be approved more quickly and smoothly.

Be as specific as you can when submitting it, and keep in mind that only one suggestion per idea is permitted. If you have another suggestion, such as asking for a What's new section within the desktop app, please submit it as a separate idea. Always remember to check if someone else has posted something similar, so you can vote for it.

Hope this clears things up. If you have any questions or need a hand with anything else, we're always a post away.
