Please can you let me download your client over HTTPS

 

$ curl "https://download.spotify.com/Spotify.dmg"
curl: (51) SSL: certificate subject name (*.cloudfront.net) does not match target host name 'download.spotify.com'

I think the download only works over http

I really didnt ask about if https works or not. I asked PRETTY PLEASE USE HTTPS.

as in, you should be looking into this. right now

As in, the internet is moving towards HTTP2, which requires your https stack to be functional. HTTP2 is being rolled out during the second half of this year.
