"NOW PLAYING" removed from Web Player?

Solved!

"NOW PLAYING" removed from Web Player?

Can't locate any option to view a "Now Playing" list. This list was helpful since I am always playing all my music in "Shuffle" mode so it was nice being able to see what songs were coming up in the list. Now, with the new format it appears that the "Now Playing" option has been removed on the Web Player.

Am I missing something?

On the new version of Spotify Web Player, your Now Playing section is under the screen, unlike before where it was on the right.

There is no way to display the current list of tracks that are playing.  If you have shuffle on, you have absolutely no idea what's coming up.  In the previous iteration, you could see what songs were queued up to play next, shuffle on or off.

At least, that's what I've found.

Yea, that's pretty much how it seems to me too, which is pretty disappointing.

This is not a solution. The "Now Playing" bar at the bottom shows the song currently playing, but there is no way to navigate to the full list of songs that "Now Playing" should show. The Queue is not helpful if you want to see a song that already played...or if you want to see the entire original list of songs.

I totally agree. This is totally unacceptable as a human factors issue. You really want positive feedback on what is actually playing. Time to scout other sound streaming services that are atuned to what humans want.

OK, I see what Spotify wants to do and that is focus you to the album with the hopes you'll focus on that/ The problem is that most of the time the track that is playing is not always associated to any identifying information about the album. So, you're left with a total disconnect and unlikely to ever purchase the album or even listen to it. They have effectively removed the connection between the track and the album unless it's totaly obvious which is not likely in most cases. That is a total step against artists because there is no way that a listenner can easily identify what they are listening to is what they may want to follow up, without more keystrokes. because there really is no positive connection between track and album. Imagine you've been listening for 30 minutes and you listen to something fabulous. All you see is an "album" claimed to be what you are listening to but there is no positive feedback on the playlist that you really were listening to it. Total frustration and a total negative about following the artist (artist please complain). Wow Spotify you got this so WRONG!
