sometime spotify connect disappears

My Question or Issue

Hello,

sometimes when I try to connect to my tv with my computer or phone ( all three on the same Wi-Fi), I get only the option to connect using google cast and Spotify connect. at least from my experience, connect is a lot more stable and better than cast, is there any way I can return that option? 

btw, Spotify does offer me Spotify connect to connect my phone to the computer.

Can you try the following:

• Check if the Spotify version and device firmware are up to date
• Restart your router

If that doesn't do the trick, can you perform a clean reinstall? This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.
