web player not working

I was trying to listen to some music play.spotify.com but is taking me to open.spotify.com/login I went on other threads looking for answers and I saw that this was happening in 2017 too but no way to fix it? Please help. (Im using Google Chrome)

You can't use the play.spotify.com site anymore.

It will redirect you to the open.spotify.com page. ^^

Why do you need to use the play.spotify.com page?

I want it to use the web player so thats why I went to play.spotify.com

By the way, when did this site stopped woriking? Because I remember using the web playe like 4 weeks ago

The https://open.spotify.com/browse/featured is the web player.

I'm not sure when they changed it. But I think it was quite a while ago. ^^
