Can't remove plan member

I have tried and repeatedly failed to remove an unwanted plan member from my account but have been unable to.

To remove a member of the Family plan, follow these steps:

1. Go to your account page.
2. Under Subscription, choose Manage members.
3. Select the option to remove members.

If you have trouble with these steps, could you share more details on the errors you get, if any? Please make sure to provide the following details:

• Device and operating system (e.g. MacBook Air, 10.10 OSX)
• Any screenshots/screen recordings that help explain or illustrate the issue

I tried that, but I had no success. There are no error codes, I simply cannot see that as an option when I go to the plan member's profile. I am on the 2021 Macbook Pro.

Same thing here, there is just no option to remove a member.

I finally figured it out! If you use the mobile app, you can remove a plan
member in the settings. It just doesn’t appear online for some reason.

Indeed! The option is on the mobile version but not on the desktop web version. Spotify team, please fix this.

We really appreciate the time you took to let us know about this. We can confirm that it's expected not to be able to remove members of a family plan directly from the desktop app. Now, remember there are 2 ways to remove members of a family plan:

• Following the steps mentioned by @Anyk17 above.
• From the mobile app version. To do it:
  1. Tap the picture profile at the top-right of the screen.
  2. Go to Settings and privacy. 
  3. At the top, tap Account. 
  4. At Your plan, tap Premium Family.
  5. Tap the member you'd like to remove.
  6. Under Remove from plan, tap the Remove button.

We think that removing members the same as on mobile would be a great addition to the desktop app!
