Family member not showing up as premium

Family member not showing up as premium

I upgraded to Spotify premium family and sent invites to my family members. When my son uses the link to add him to family, it only shows he has the free Spotify. It does not show premium. When he clicks to add premium, it asks for my credit card information. I do not want to enter it in fear that I will be double charged for this. How can I add him to the premium family plan without being charged?

Dont click because he is clicking to start a normal premium subscription and you will be double charged.

 

what error message does he get when he uses the link from your invite?https://support.spotify.com/account_payment_help/subscription_information/premium-for-family/

He does not get an error message. It just asks him to create an account so
we did that and its a free listening account, no family plan or premium
shows up for it. What are we doing wrong?
