How do I unlink my spotify account from google home?

The suggested method of clicking 'unlink' is not working. I think it is because I got the original Nest Mini through Spotify a few years a go, so my Spotify account is locked in, but it not it is not letting me add any other accounts from my Family account.
Has anybody been through this before, or got any ideas? Thanks!

Thanks for the post.

You can use Google Voice Match to add more Google accounts to your device which you can then link to more Spotify accounts.

You said that unlinking the current Spotify account doesn't work. Have you tried these exact steps:

1. In the Google Home app, tap Account in the top-right.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Music under services.
4. Tap UNLINK.
5. Link a new Spotify account.

Do you get some sort of error message when you try to do this?
