My Spotify plan changed?

Ive been on premium for family for a couple of months and out of no where it canceled, i went to see if it was the payment but it didnt mention anything on the site, all it says is this,

"YOUR PLAN Spotify Premium 9.99 CAD/month

Play any song with no ads, even offline.

Your plan will automatically renew on 4/17/18 and you'll be charged 9.99 CAD."

I had to change plans and add all of my family members again, why did this happen as i dont want it to happen again?
