Can’t get premium for students

Can’t get premium for students

I’ve been trying to get Spotify premium for students in Germany. Every time i click on the offer it directs me to an error page saying this website doesn’t exist anymore. Is the student discount not available anymore?

I was able to verify my student status but still when i click on get student discount on the confirmation email i still get the same website. Should i just delete my account?

Hmm, that's odd. Can you confirm that you're in Germany when you try to open the website? Have you tried an incognito or private window?

 

Keep in mind that the country for the following criteria need to match, in order for you to be able to activate the student discount on your account:

  • the country setting for your account
  • the country of the university you're registered at
  • the country you're currently located at and a valid payment method issued in that same country

Hi, i live in Colombia.

I have the same problem, verify my account, and it was accepted, but it sendd me to the same page.

Thanks for bringing this up with us.

 

If you've already followed the steps that @Xenia listed above, we'd also recommend that you check the country registered on your account by following the steps here.

 

You could also make sure you're not using a VPN when trying to apply the discount on the account.
