I'm a verified student, but try to change my plan it says I'm ineligible?

I'm a verified student, but try to change my plan it says I'm ineligible?

I have the email verifying my student ID, but when I change my plan it gives me an error saying "Sorry, you are not eligible for that plan. Here are some other ways to get Premium." Then it wants me to choose a different plan. Why?

Thanks for reaching out. Consider trying to subscribe using this link. If that still doesn't work, consider cancelling your current subscription and waiting for your account to revert to free. Perhaps the payment method is incompatible with Student, or if you have a Family or Duo plan, then switching directly may not be possible.

So currently I am on the free version. I put all my information in with the Sheer ID yesterday and today when I try to purchase the student version it says I am not eligible. How do I fix this?
