Premium Student losing Showtime?

After receiving an email notifying me about the price increase for Premium Student, I went online to my account, and then my current plan. It said “Your plan will change to Premium for Students on 7/29/23. At that time, you’ll lose access to Showtime.”

Why am I losing access to Showtime?

Thanks for coming to the Community.

As a result of changes to the SHOWTIME app, Spotify will no longer offer SHOWTIME access as part of the Premium Student plan. Right now, I don’t have any further info to share, but rest assured that Spotify will continue to explore opportunities to provide value to users of the Premium Student plan.
