Premium student not working even though I'm verified as a student

I am a student at an accredited university, and have been approved by the SheerID verification. I got an email and have a message on the Spotify website telling me that I am verified until this time next year. The Spotify website then prompts me to select the student plan, but when I do, it brings me back to the general plan selection page with a message that I'm "not eligible for that plan".

To be clear, the issue is not that I am not verified through SheerID because I have received multiple confirmations through both the Spotify website and through my email that I am.

Thanks for reaching out. If you get this error when trying to follow the link found within the SheerID confirmation email, there could be a couple of issues here. Firstly, make sure you haven't exceeded the 4 year limit for Premium Student. Also, if your account is currently on Family or Duo, perhaps the system cannot transition directly to Student. If the latter is the case, cancel your current subscription, wait for your account to revert to free and then resubscribe for Student.

Having this same issue. Nowhere on my spotify account can I link my HULU account back. I use the same email for both. I have been a verified student for almst a year. When I go to Hulu to log in it asks me to subscribe again. I have tried on my DESKTOP to and my iphone.

I have this exact problem as well. I have been approved by the sheerID verification and have been using Spotify student for a while now. But recently when I tried to pay, it came with a message saying that it was not available in my country and I'm certain it is.
