Spotify For Students changed to Spotify Premium

My Question or Issue

 So I received an email about a month ago asking to complete a survey. I did, and in return, I got 3 months free Spotify premium. What I didn't realize was that accepting this turned off my Spotify for Students. So now I can't access Hulu or Showtime until January 2019. Is there any way to remove the 3 free months of premium and just go back to charging me the $4.99 price allowing me to have Hulu and Showtime again.

Hey @GarrettLarson Welcome to the Spotify Community!

There might be a solution, go to Spotify.com and sign into your account and on go to your account overview. Once you are there on the left side, there will be a subscription category. There it will tell you what is your current plan. In that section you can cancel whatever plan you are using. Afterwards, you might have to resubscribe to the Student plan. If so go to this Spotify Student Page and reactivate your Student Plan.

I have already tried doing what you’ve suggested. When I try to do that it freezes for a few seconds then says there was an error try again.

Have you tried doing this in a different browser or possibly in incognito mode?

Okie! If the issue is still happening with incognito or different browser let me know so then we can figure out this problem.

Just tried using safari instead of google chrome to cancel the 3 months of free premium but it had the same error? weird
