Student account and Credit Card

Hi, I am a student in Germany, but I am from Spain. I have a Spanish credit card, but when I want to use it for paying my student account, it says it is not possible because the credit card is Spanish and not German. Is it that normal? Can I still apply for the student account without a credit card from the same country, where I study? Thank you

That is normal. The payment method must match with the country that you're studying in.
