Student discount paid twice

I upgraded my spotify account to premium, spotify took money from me twice (2,99โ‚ฌ x 2) and I still have only a free version.

Hi! There are few options.

  1. You can contact Spotify support here or tweet them @SpotifyCares. They will answer you as soon as they can.
  2. You can check your Bank account / PayPal and ask them to cancel the payment.

NOTE: When you sign up to Spotify student discount, your bank/credit card company places a temporary authorization on the funds while Spotify confirms that youโ€™re a student. At this point, no money has actually been taken, although the amount might show as deducted from your overall balance. This is known as a pending charge.

If weโ€™re unable to verify your eligibility, the pending charge will be automatically canceled and the funds will reappear on your statement.
