Automatic found guilty?

Automatic found guilty?

Like Google,  is Spotify now auto-accusing its best members? I have put many efforts in my playlists (Beukenoot) and now i have been auto-accused. First they kill you and then you have to contact.  The opposite way and very user unfriendly

I save my playlists already to deezer. to be secure not to loosethem.

Hey @Beukenoot ,

Is there anything I can help out with?

If so, can you let me know a little more about what’s happening exactly? I’d love to see what I can suggest.

Thanks 🙂

For some reason (I did some experiment with a vpn router and a phone with vpn) and I think it triggered a program that looks for illegal use. I ran Spotify on a Nvidia shield and on my telephone and it tookna while until my phone detected that I was playing. The test went good since now my phone is much faster because of blocking of ads an google services (2FA doen not come through even)

But okay,  i got a message which looked like phishing that my account will be blocked and with a link to the customerservice. of course I did throw this away and contacted CS to ask directly. They actually DID sent this.  But to regain access I needed to declare that i wasn't making illegal copies. Well I buy music on regular basis so why.. I said my playlists took a while to make and there is much emotions behind them. Then I got an answer about paying music rights...  i got the account back but i was so angry that i quit using spotify.

It is the opposite way to block someone and then ask not to make illegal copies.  Vpn was not the reason. Strange, why tbis happens now just after experimenting? You have bad helpdesk but more irritating is that automatic found guilty, like Google now did with photo's, they accused someone without really knowing if that is correct.  Every big internet compant should treat his customers like humans.

I am happy to be able to import my playlists in another service which looks very similar.

Pity because I like spotify but democracy and privacy i like even more.
