Why can’t I subscribe to the basic plan for $10.99 without audiobooks?

Why can’t I subscribe to the basic plan for $10.99 without audiobooks?

The other week there was an option to subscribe to a basic plan for ad free music, without audiobooks for $10.99. Now the only option I see available is Premium with audiobooks for $11.99.

Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out.

If you're in the US, you're eligible if you had an active Premium subscription before June 20 and if this subscription is still active and hasn't been canceled.

You can also visit this page to check if you're eligible.

I hope this clears things up!

Note: I'm not a Spotify employee.

I am having this same problem, and Maxim has answered well, but now I have a different issue.
I have had Spotify premium for literally years, and I switched to the Basic plan when the email came around earlier this year. About a month ago, I had to cancel my card and didn't get a new one for a while, and in that time, obviously my Spotify autopay did not go through.
Now, adding my new card to my account, I am learning that I'm no longer eligible for Basic, which is obviously a bad way for things to work. I really hope Spotify fixes this issue.
