Can I train or customize Family Mix

Is there a way to train or customize Family Mix?

I played the Dead Kennedys once and now it insists on putting at least a couple of their tracks in every list. The kids don't like them. I don't really want the kids to listen to them. How can I make Family Mix stop playing them?

Yes, I know about chill and upbeat. Yes, I know about barring all explicit songs. But that isn't what I want.

I want to be able to say. 'Don't play this band'. Or 'Less of this' / 'More of this'.

Are their any options like these?

And why does Family Mix insist on playing lots of bands you played once and none of bands you listen to all the time?

The Family Mix playlist is designed to get updated the more members of the Family plan play music. One way to manage whose music taste Family Mix is based on is by tapping (Android) /  (iPhone) in the top-right of the mix, then tapping Manage Users.

We also recommend checking out this Community Idea for a feature to remove songs from the Family Mix. You can add your vote by clicking on the +VOTE button. It'll also be useful to Subscribe via the three-dots menu in the top right corner next to the title.
