My Discover weekly playlist does not load at all when i try to open it.

Thanks for the reply.

 

We've passed this on to the relevant teams at Spotify. 

 

Note that this might be happening because you haven't used the Spotify app in a long time, so it's possible that the algorithm hasn't been able to gather enough data about your recent listening experience in order to generate the playlist. It might also be a good idea to follow/ unfollow some new artists in order to refresh your recommendations algorithm.

 

Can you let us know if the playlist becomes playable within a week?

Thanks for reaching out. Could you please provide us the following:

  • Is this on all devices or only on specific one(s)?
  • When did this start happening?
  • Is only Discover Weekly affected or other playlists also?
  • Screenshots or a video of the behaviour

With this information, we’d be happy to investigate.

All my devices are affected by this problem.

I’ve started using Spotify again the last week since the last year and I’ve found this problem, i’m not able to tell you when it started to happen.

Only Discover weekly playlist is affected by this problem.

 

Attached there is a screenshot of the problem in my pc where Spotify, after infinite loading, tells me that the playlist does not exists.

Thanks for the reply. Can you open it in the webplayer? Is the behaviour the same across different networks? If you haven't tested these things, please do so.

Yes the same thing happens both in webplayer and using different networks.

It’s true, I’ve started using Spotify again the last week but I’ve not used it for more than a year, so maybe the algorithm needs some time to refresh the playlist.

I will keep you updated within a week, thank you!
