Expandable / Collapsible Album View

Solved!

Expandable / Collapsible Album View

When browsing through the albums of any artist having a great number of releases, it is an absolute pain to do so as all tracks are listed in the actual view making the page extremely long. I would suggest to add a function to expand / collapse all or by individual releases in order to run through them much quicker than you can at present.

Also, a vertical scrolling option at album section of the artist page would come handy for the same reason. Currently, you can jump directly to that 8 releases only presented there or click the Albums or See Discography which leads to the listing suggested to be enhanced above.

Hi @duhr,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

We've moved your post to this help board because this is something you can already do.

To change from list to grid view, simply open an artist's discography and click on this icon to collapse the list of albums.

About your second suggestion, it's not quite clear what you mean by implementing a vertical scrolling option. But for this, we recommend searching in our Ideas board to see if someone else has already suggested that so you can add your vote.

If there aren't any ideas about it, you can add your own so others can then vote for it or add to the conversation to show their support. You can find the steps to submit a new idea in this article.

Let us know if you have any questions 🙂

Hey MafeG,

Thanks for your response. This will do for what I was looking for.

For the second suggestion, I was referring to the default album view on any artist page, where the latest 8 releases appear. See example screenshot below:

To browse the full discography, you have to go to "See Discography" and pick the album of your interest. My suggestion would be to implement here a vertical scrolling, so that one can get directly to the release beyond the displayed 8.

Hey @duhr,

Thanks for the reply.

As @MafeG has suggested, we recommend checking the Ideas Board for active Ideas on this and add your +Vote to it. If you can't find any, you can submit your own. Here you can read more on how ideas work.
