Hey @StuBoogie,

Thanks for your questions.

The search should show both personally created playlists and ones you're following. However that won't include individual songs even if they're part of your playlists. So when using Library search you'll only get results for playlists, albums and podcasts, but no songs. This is because there are no songs by themselves in your library, they're all part of playlists/ albums/ EPs etc. Even your Liked Songs, as that's still a playlist.

If you use the regular search option you should find individual songs, that will also show your playlists.

Hope this clears things up. Don't hesitate to reach out again if you have questions.

Hey @StuBoogie,

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Sorry to hear that this has started happening. Can you let us know your exact Spotify app version and when did this start happening?

Note that currently only followed artists, playlists and liked albums will appear in the Library search, whereas individual songs will not.

Looking forward to your reply.

Alex,

Thank you for your reply.  I am using version 8.7.20.1261 . Recently, new songs that I favorite or add to a playlist do not appear when searching in "Your Library" (the search bar in the header).

You may have answered my question:  "Note that currently only followed artists, playlists and liked albums will appear in the Library search, whereas individual songs will not."  If accurate in this case, your response leads to two more questions:

1) When you mentioned "playlists" in your response, are you referring only to third party playlists or my personal lists? Each song that I have "favorited" also appears in one of my personal playlists.

2) After clicking on search for Your Library, the page reads:

Find your favorites

Search everything you've liked, followed, or created.

That sounds like it is in contradiction to your response.  Neither some of the songs I have liked nor some songs contained in playlists I have created are showing up in my local search.

Thank you, again.
