I did not get the new “create AI playlist” feature

I did not get the new “create AI playlist” feature

I pay for Duo Premium in Australia. My partner got the new AI playlist feature. I didn’t. I even tried logging in using his Spotify app in his phone and I don’t get the feature using my account - he does when he uses his account. Is there a way for me to get the feature? I chatted with Spotify support, but they are helpless.

Does anyone know why my spotify does not have the new ai feature.. where you say what type of playlist you want it to create.. i read about it in tech crunch but when i click (+) i only see add a new playlist.. not a choice to let ai create.

Thank you for coming to the Community and for letting us know about your experience. 

 

The AI playlist feature really is a step in a new direction for us and we're so excited for you guys to be able to try it out. As it is a new feature, we are gradually rolling it out to more and more users in the available markets. Make sure your app is up to date so you get the feature as soon as possible, from version 8.9.14.266 onwards, to be precise.

I have an iPhone, I’m in the UK, I am a premium subscriber. But no ai playlist. Why not?

Same issue for me. Could someone from Spotify respond with precise device requirements to enable this feature?

Similar to the user above, I still don't have this feature yet my partner does.

 

I pay for the account (Premium Duo) as well. I live in the UK, originally from Australia and have the most up to date software on my s24 ultra. 

 

Doesn't make any sense to me??

Duo premium subscriber here from UK. Partner has it I don't, up to date app. Seems like a pattern!!!

Uk premium user joined to make use of this feature and it's not available on my phone, why not?

Sometimes companies roll specific features out to a limited number of customers at a time. Some do it per device but seems like Spotify is doing that per account. You’ll just have to wait awhile until they roll it out to you

It’s crazy that I’m the plan owner and I don’t have it yet my kids do. 

My husband received the AI playlist beta feature a couple weeks ago but I did not. We are on a family plan. Now I’ve used the feature from his account but can’t access it myself and customer service says only don’t worry you’ll get it soon. Being able to use the feature on his phone but not mine is frustrating and it would be better if you rolled it out to all members of the same plan. It makes me want to share his account instead of having two. The AI playlist beta is a great feature and I know I would use Spotify more if I had access to it. 

Keeps showing that it can't load won't let me create anything

Microsoft's CEO Satya Nadella said that AI is the new UI.

This means that we should not select the songs with mouse or with smartphone, but we should be able to use natural language.

Spotify could be a pioneer and build us a Spotify AI -app (or a hold-button to Spotify), where I could easily state that "I'm travelling to my home town, the drive takes 2 hours, it's sunny and I'd like to hear some upbeat music from my home region as I drive... and possibly add some short science themed podcast's in between of the songs."

Then the magic happens.

It still doesn’t work for me and I really want it. Please help me to fix this.
