[Mobile] Playlist Loop Toggle

[Mobile] Playlist Loop Toggle

So, I've been a user for about six years now and recently I'm running into a huge issue with the loop function. Every time I put on a playlist, Spotify automatically sets it to loop infinitely. This wouldn't be an issue most days, especially since there's a little toggle for it on mobile currently that turns it from infinite to single loop to off entirely.

The issue arises from the fact that the loop sticks. I can turn it off all I want, but if i swipe away from the app and come back, or even move to my car or to bluetooth play the loop turns back on!  When this happens on the car switch it's even more annoying since I often will not notice until I'm already on the second round of the loop, thus forcing me to skip through all the songs again until I get to the end or switch to another playlist. Both of these are more difficult and unsafe to do when I'm in the car on my own and don't have a copilot to mess with the settings for me.

Loop is a good function, but please add a master control to turn it off in settings or patch the loop feature so it stops selectively ignoring input.

Hey @Voilieé,

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community. We hope you don't mind us moving your post out of the ideas section to one of our Help boards as it fits better here.

It seems like you're experiencing an issue and in this case, we'd like to gather as much info as possible. Could you please share with us if the same behavior occurs on a different device?

In addition, sending us a quick video would also help us get a better understanding. You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. If the attachment is too big - we'd suggest that you upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it).

On another note, if you've tried any troubleshooting to fix this - please share what methods you've tested. This'll help us avoid repeating steps.

We'll be on the lookout  for your update.
