My Question or Issue

Hi all, i've got a weird situation with the Discover Weekly this time: all the artists are well known to me and much of the songs are songs that i know well, but i didn't listened to them in a while (sometimes i have songs on CD, sometimes i simply didn't listened to recently). It looks weird, because i love hard rock and heavy metal, but i always got a maximum of five to ten famous bands and a lot more random bands, even of other genres to Discover. Hope next week will be more random, with some knows bands and more unknown bands, that's the point of Discover Weekly: I post the photos, so you can recognize that an hard rock and heavy metal fans knows well all of this 30 artists:

Hi there @nighthawk989,

Thanks for reaching out on the Community!

If you haven't listened to those artists for a while, and if you have not explicitly liked or disliked them in your account, then it's more than normal that they pop in into your Discover Weekly once in a while.

We understand that as a proper metal-head, you're probably well familiar with most of the bands there, but the algorithm of the app still needs some sort of indications, so it can deliver you adequate suggestions in the future. Here is a nice article with a video, where you can check how to 'teach the app' and improve the playlists made for you.

Hope you find this useful. Keep us posted if you have any questions.

Thank you Kiril, but honestly it's weird, i still listen quite often to these bands amongst other less well known. This looks like a basic introduction to hard rock/heavy metal, with lot of tracks already listened also... quite disapponting, i will continue listening as i always done, because this problem never happened before. Let's hope monday will be better.
