Hey @psionix,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community! We moved your post from Ideas to the help boards as its content fits better here.

The issue with the Recently played that you're experiencing seems more like device related to us. With that being said, we would like you to try some steps.

First up, we'd recommend logging out and then logging back in two times in a row on your phone. It sounds a bit odd, but it forces a sync between the account and your device.

If a family member has a Spotify account, it could also be a good idea to ask them to log in on your device to see if the app behaves the same way.

In case the issue persists, try performing a clean reinstall of the app with as this should help you solve this. It'll also get you the latest app version with all necessary updates and fixes and will remove any corrupted files from previous installations.

Let us know how it goes.

Hey,

Thanks, it worked after logging out two times.

Hey,

I would like to add one more thing:

Whenever I close the app completely (killing it), and reopen it cannot see
the Recently played part right away. Always have to log off and log in
first to see it. I am using iPhone 8 Plus and having iOS 15.7.1 version. I
already upgraded to latest version of Spotify.

Sad to see this problem persist when I completely close off the app.

Any recommendations?

Thanks.

Hey @psionix

Thanks for getting back to us.

Would you mind sending us a screen recording of the issue happening so we can take a closer look? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it).

We'll be waiting for your reply.
