"Add to playlist" button shows all my playlists with somehow random order (I guess it's puting first those I have added few songs recently to). Very frustrating to look for playlist that I actually want to add because once it's on very top, other time somewhere in the bottom. Can we have alphabetical orderd or smth like that in "add to playlist" window?

i have version 9.0.0 of the app but its still not showing like the screenshot 😞
Hey everyone,
Thanks for posting in this thread!
As we're seeing a few of you mentioning that you're still are experiencing issues, and to make sure we cover all bases here, could you double-check if a newer version is available for the app? You can see this by following the steps here - the latest one for the mobile app should be version 9.0.2.
Should the issue persist after checking this, however, would you mind providing us the details requested by @Vasil (if you haven't already)? This info will help us look into this further together with our tech folks.
If possible, it would be great if you could send us a screen recording as well, showing how things look from your end.
Keep us posted!

Any updates?
Same here
This really is infuriating. Not only the issue itself, but the moderator’s continued ignorance of the problem and insistence that it should be okay. It is not working! Look at all the people who have complained! How can this be so hard to fix? Spotify is just not trying. Time to change to Apple Music.
Having the same issue. Had the feature show up a couple months ago which was nice, and then it randomly disappeared some time later. I was on an iPhone 12 Pro Max back then. Yesterday I got a brand new phone, yet the issue persists. Interestingly it works in my roommate’s iPhone but not on mine.

Hey everyone,
We've heard back from our tech folks who have confirmed that you got to try one of the features they are working on.
At Spotify, we're often testing and launching improvements to the app. This means you might occasionally see something your friend doesn’t, or get a new feature to try temporarily.
While we're unable to provide an ETA for when it will be back, rest assured we’re regularly looking for opportunities to enhance the user experience for everyone, so your feedback on this is greatly appreciated.
The Community is just a post away if something else comes up in the meantime.
Take care 💚
This is a feature that's currently on desktop version. Basically, when you're on the mobile app and listening to a song that's in your library, when you click the green checkmark, it should show which of your playlists that the song is in at the TOP of the window, rather than having to scroll through all your playlists and folders to check.

My Question or Issue
When adding a song to a playlist, the playlists the song was already in would appear at the top of my list of playlists. Now, you have to scroll to see each song the playlist is in. Can we bring back the feature that shows all playlists the song is already in at the top of the phone? I would attach a photo, but the issue is on iOS and I'm submitting this on my computer.
I have organised many many songs into various playlists which are in various folders which I created on the Mac desktop version. When I press the green check mark in the desktop app, I can see which playlist a song is in and the folder.
But on mobile this completely different, why isn't the playlist or folder which the song is in at the top of the list, or even to have the enclosing folder a different shade/colour so you can see where it is. I listen to a lot of music and I know where the songs are but navigating it is a nightmare especially when I’m outside which is most of the time.
I'm sure it was before it worked properly?

Hi, I'm using the desktop application and have the same issue.
I'm using a Windows 10 laptop, Spotify for Windows (64 bit) version 1.2.57.463.g4f748c64.
Thank you for working to fix this! It's a huge pain to scroll through a randomly ordered list of playlists...
Hi there. Yes, this is exactly the issue we’re trying to fix. Apparently the feature was an experiment, which is totally infuriating. Thanks for adding your voice to this. The more people who complain, the more likely they are to fix this, and stop messing with their loyal customers in this way
Keep the complaints coming guys. Hopefully Spotify will get the message🙄
This used to be a feature in the mobile app, and I really miss it.
It used to be that I could click the "..." next to a song, select "Add to playlist," and then on the following screen it would show me all of the playlists to which I had already added that song. The playlists with the song on it were shown at the top of the page and each had a green checkmark next to them.
I should mention that I use the folders feature to organize my playlists. So for users who do not use folders, you may not even have this issue. I have a lot of playlists, so folders are essential to me to keep things organized. But if a song is saved to multiple playlists that are in different folders, I can't tell from that first page. I have to click on each of the folders to check, which is a hassle.
I noticed that at one point, Spotify removed this feature temporarily, then they brought it back, and now it has been gone again for at least a couple of months. Please, please bring it back! Thank you!

My Question or Issue
I'm experiencing an issue with a feature on the Spotify iOS app that briefly appeared last week. For a couple of days, when I saw a green checkmark on songs, indicating the song was saved somewhere in my library, it showed a "Saved in" section at the top. This section listed all the playlists or libraries where the song was saved, including Liked Songs. However, this feature has now disappeared, and I can no longer see where my songs are saved in this detailed manner. ATTACHING A PHOTO OF THE FEATURE BELOW.
If anyone else is experiencing this issue or has a solution, please let me know. I appreciate any help in resolving this.
They brought it back on my iphone last week for like two days then removed it. Spotify and their feature integration is starting to bother me.
