My Question or Issue

I've been using Spotify for years now and never had anything to complain about.

Last year I went from all Android to all iOS, but kept Spotify instead of Apple Music.

Now I'm mainly using an iPhone and iPad Pro with my pair of Airpods Pro to listen to music on spotify.

The features allowing to swap Airpods between devices worked great for a few weeks, even while listening to music and everything, but since last week it's a nightmare.

Sometime if I'm listening to music on my iPad, if I take one Airpod out of my ear, when I put it back in nothing happens, and when I press the Airpod my music is Apple Music coming from my iPhone, sometimes Apple Music coming from the iPad, etc.

Even while using only one device, sometimes it works great but sometimes when I pause/take an earpiece out, and resume after a few second, music swapps from Spotify to Apple Music even with Spotify still showing up on the lock screen.

It's really keeping me from studying/working while listening to music because I have Rap/Rock playing on Apple Music when I was listening to Lo-Fi on spotify.

Is there an solution ? I've tried a lot of things but the problem still shows up.

Thanks a lot for your help

Hey @Haladeen

Welcome to the Community! Thanks for reaching out about this.

First up, we'd recommend making sure that the Apple Music app is not running in the background. Would you mind closing it completely and checking if the issue persists?

Also, if possible, could you try connecting wired headphones to your device? Let us know if you notice any difference.

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

EDIT: Nevermind, the poor UX of this website didn't tell me that I could hit Like until I had set a username, and didn't tell me ANYTHING until I hit reply for the first time. Kindof frustrating website design, really.
