Hey there @gogmagog

 

Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community.

 

In order to check if the issue you're experiencing is account-related, could you ask a friend or a relative to log in to their account on your device to see if they can replicate this behavior? 

 

If it only happens with your account, it's possible that the large library you mentioned is affecting the app's performance. In this case, we suggest that you try saving the albums in Albums instead of saving them as playlists.

My app on my iPhone has been lagging so bad the last 3 months

@gogmagog, we're glad to know that everything looks good on your end!

 

@baileyaltendorf would you mind confirming if you've performed a clean reinstall of the app already? If not, we'd recommend following the steps mentioned in this article

 

If the issue persists, would you mind checking on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out. 


Lastly, include in your next response the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
