Broken interface on liked songs.

I have two different interfaces for my liked songs. Most of the time its a very limited interface which hides the filter, the download status of the songs, doesn't allow swiping from the left to queue songs and shows a wrong number of saved songs:

Some of the time the correct interface shows up with all those things working:

It's really irritating to have the app not function properly most of the times.

Thank you for keeping in contact and for the shared info.

 

If the issue is not happening on another device, it's possible that the behavior could be related to some damaged cache stored on your iPhone. We understand you've already tried some troubleshooting steps including reinstalling, but to be sure that we're on the same page - did you use the steps for a clean reinstall mentioned in this article?

 

If so and the issue persists, it would be great if you could have someone log in with their account on your device - such as a friend or a family member, to see if the issue persists. This will help us understand if it could be account-related or not.

 

We'll be on the lookout.

Hi there @fivezeroone,

 

Thanks for reaching out. That's quite strange, have you noticed any kind of pattern as to when it works properly and when it doesn't or does it just sporadically switch? Is only the aforementioned iPhone affected by this? What model is it exactly and what Spotify Version are you using?

 

Let us know so we can look deeper into this.

Hi @Joan

 

When force-quitting the Spotify app and launching it, the correct interface shows up in about one in five times.

Most of the time it's the broken interface, hence my frustration with the situation.

I've tried reinstalling the app, changing the locale but the problem keeps persisting.

 

Spotify App version

8.8.88.445

iOS-Version

17.1.1

iPhone model

13 Pro (MLV93ZD/A)

 

I also have Spotify installed on my iPad, where the broken interface never appears (or maybe I never noticed, I hardly use it on the iPad).

Thank you, my issue has been resolved. After completely reinstalling and clearing the application cache I used another account to log in. Since then the issue has not appeared again.
