Everything else working perfectly, just browse tab show weird message.
I tried:
1) Logout/Login
2) Restart iPad
3) Reinstalling app
4) Removing device from offline list
Nothing helps.

It looks like you are connected to a VPN. Some VPNs can block connections to Spotify. Could you try to disable VPN and see if it works after that? Let me know how it works out!

I have the same problem on two iPads. The search works, I am connected to the internet, but "browse" does not work. On my IPhone it works. Same Network, latest OS and latest Spotify-Version.
I have the same problem. On iOS 10 it works but not on my older iPad with 9.3.5
I just started using spotify and I'm still in the trial period of my premium account and have the exact same issue. Hereby the various setups:
- Windows 10 with latest Spotify app -> works fine
- iPhone 6S with latest IOS 9 (10 not supported by company yet) and latest Spotify app -> Works fine
- iPad 4 with iOS 10 and latest Spotify app -> Does not let you browse and says it's offline (though it is capable of playing online songs from Spotify)
- iPad Air with iOS 10 and latest Spotify app -> Does not let you browse and says it's offline (though it is capable of playing online songs from Spotify)
- Samsung S4 mini with last Android update for this phone and latest Spotify app -> Works fine
- Samsung Smart TV with standard installed Spotify app -> Works fine
I use my own credentials and nothing with Facebook.
As you can see from the above: the issue seems to be iPad related. Before actually paying for the premium, it would be nice to see this work and get convinced of the features of this app and the service offered by Spotify.
I tried without vpn, same result. Everything else, including iPhone and Windows version works fine. Taking into account the previous comments and some other topics nearby, its iPad-specific issue.
Just for stats:
iPad Pro 9.7 iOS 10.0.2
Spotify 6.5.0.1665

Same problem.......was working then 2 days ago stopped. Nothing has changed..... I'm on a trial membership too. I'll make sure to cancel that as this seems like a common problem.
